GenePalette

The Rebeiz Lab is the home of the GenePalette software tool.
GenePalette is a desktop application that allows users to visualize and manipulate genomic sequences. Genomic fragments from any sequence deposited into the GenBank database can be loaded into the program. Imported sequences are displayed graphically in a highly interconnected interface, allowing the annotation of custom features, including transcription factor binding sites, restriction enzyme sites, and primers. The software can align multiple genomic fragments in order to assess binding site conservation among related species. The software is written in Java and can be run on any platform.
We are constantly improving GenePalette, and welcome your comments, questions, and bug reports at rebeiz{at}pitt.edu.
